You can't host a holiday party without a festive cocktail! Cooking isn't my forte so I am typically in charge of cocktails. I am excited to share one of my favorites to make around the holidays, the Gin Gimlet. It is light and refreshing- always a crowd-pleaser.

Here is what you will need:
Gin of choice, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker!
I usually make my own simple syrup on the stove. All you have to do is heat up sugar and water in a saucepan, stir until the sugar is dissolved.
For a festive touch, add a sprig of Rosemary to garnish. I was making this cocktail for our team holiday party. I wanted to make it a little more special! I dipped Rosemary sprigs in water and then coated them in sugar. This additional step made the cocktail extra yummy as the sugar dissolved.
Be sure to save this recipe for your next holiday gathering or happy hour at home! xx, Megan
