Daniel Island II Project

The Daniel Island II project gave us the opportunity to work on both indoor and outdoor living spaces. We worked on the living room, breakfast nook, entryway, master bedroom and porches. In some areas of the home we simply adjusted the look and added in elements to complete the space.

The outdoor renovation was completed by Shelter Custom Built Living. We designed the porch and created a special living and dining space for the family to enjoy outdoors all year long!

We provide our clients with presentation boards which show the items we plan to use in each space. These boards help clients to visualize the items we plan to add to an existing space. For areas such as the porch where we started from scratch, the presentation boards showcase the plan for the space and how it will all come together. We present the plans to our clients and make changes to the selections based on their feedback before placing orders and warehousing all items until installation day.

Install day is our favorite day! We ask our clients to leave their home while we pull together each element to make their design come to life. It is a true HGTV dream moment when our clients walk through the doors to reveal their new, updated home.

I love to take a look back at before and after photos. Many clients have beautiful homes and great taste but have a hard time piecing the design together. With our creative direction we are able to bring a new level of sophistication and style to their homes. Check out the Daniel Island II before and after photos below:

We handle all aspects of the design from making selections to ordering furnishing to inspecting and warehousing everything until install day. On install day we work to perfect every last detail down to the pillows and decorative accessories. Shelf styling may be one of my favorite parts as we are able to take areas that seem scattered and random and make them beautiful! Shelf styling is all about making the items flow and tell a story. These shelves are kitty approved!

The little details make all the difference. Pillows, frames, objects, candles, boxes and trays ~ all of these elements bring an extra layer of personality and warmth to a space.
