We set out to create two vibrant spaces in this Daniel Island home and I think itβs safe to say we achieved just that! Drawing inspiration from our clientβs three young girls, we lovingly named this project βThree Little Chicasβ as an ode to their youthful and colorful style. The reading room and bar revamp we did in this home received lots of love on social media and we are so thrilled you all love these spaces as much as we do!
This whimsical reading room is what dreams are made of! We wanted to make this space the perfect place for homework, reading, arts & crafts, and beyond. The shelves are filled with our clients own book collection, organized in rainbow order to really give that youthful pop of color! In the corner is a bright pink velvet chair, ideal for cozying up with a good book.
This nook really gave us the opportunity to let our imaginations run wild, and we wasted no opportunity to introduce vibrant color. The built-in unit is painted in βGreat Greenβ by Sherwin Williamsβ making it the perfect spring green. This green is also accented by the fun wallpapered ceiling by Rebecca Atwood.
On the back wall we have an art piece by Windy OβConnor, one of our favorite artistsβ we love to include works from her βChicaβ collection! They add the perfect girly and funky touch to any room. This darling piece was custom for our client to depict all three girls.
Keeping in theme with bright paint colors, we opted for this gorgeous blue to really make the cabinets in this bar pop! Of course we had to include this fun accent wallpaper to pair with the open shelving. It was such a treat to breathe new life into this bar areaβ this mini revamp takes hosting to the next level. We finished off the space with the Mariana chandelierΒ from my Tastemakers collection with Mitzi, available for purchase on our site!
Itβs projects like this that allow us to push the boundaries and experiment with playful colors and prints! Weβre so thankful to our clients for entrusting us to create spaces that will hold so many memories down the road. For more on this project, check out the full video tour here.
