Every year I say I’m going to simplify my closet… and every year I end up falling in love with a few pieces I wear over and over again.
These are the outfits from 2025 that weren’t just cute in theory, they were actually worn. To events. To dinners. To markets. To school things. To concerts. To the airport at 6am. Real life.
Here are the ones I truly loved.
This one just felt fun.
It’s bold, it’s bright, and it photographs beautifully, but what I loved most was how easy it felt once it was on. Strong shape, great color, no overthinking.
Sometimes you just need an outfit that does the work for you.
I wore this in Bequia for New Year’s Eve and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect for the moment. Tropical, celebratory, a little dramatic, exactly the vibe i was going for that night!
This one surprised me.
I love a rich color in the fall, and the satin fabric gave it that little bit of drama without feeling over the top. Paired with tall boots, it felt festive but still completely wearable.
And these are my Staud boots, I have them in three colors and I wear them all the time. They’re honestly my favorite boots. They just work with everything and instantly pull a look together.
This was one of those dresses I’d put on and immediately feel put together, strong color, great shape, favorite boots, done.
I wore this with my girls and it instantly became one of my favorites.
It’s structured but sweet. Classic but not boring. Red always feels strong to me, especially when the shape is simple and tailored.
And honestly… sometimes you just need a really good red dress.
A white blouse will never go out of style.
I loved pairing it with something a little more playful on the bottom. The skirt has personality, but the blouse keeps everything classic. That balance is usually what I’m going for, one strong piece, one grounding piece.
I wore this to market, but it could just as easily work for the office, a dinner date, or girls’ night. I’m always drawn to pieces that feel versatile, if I can wear it more than one way, it’s worth it.
This is a combination I will always go back to.
Soft blush tones with camel feel feminine but still grounded. A mini skirt with a tailored coat is one of my favorite formulas because it balances everything out.
It’s polished but doesn’t feel fussy.
And I love how versatile this skirt was. I wore it to market during the day, then just swapped my top and was ready for dinner. That’s my kind of piece, something that works hard and still looks effortless.
Airport outfits matter. I don’t care what anyone says.
If I’m traveling or even just running errands, I want to be comfortable, but I still want to feel like myself. Monochrome always works. It’s simple, clean, and looks intentional without trying.
This Alo set has been on repeat. It’s easy, elevated, and one of those things I’ll keep reaching for.
This might be my most “me” piece from the year.
A good coat changes everything. You can be wearing something simple underneath, but the outer layer sets the tone. And it’s waterproof… honestly, what more can you ask for?
I’ll always invest in outerwear before I invest in anything overly trendy.
This dress was easy. Throw it on, add a heel, and you’re done. I love pieces that feel feminine without trying too hard.
The funny thing is I had been eyeing this dress for a while and never pulled the trigger. Then one day I randomly went back to look at it and it was on sale and I was like, okay… immediate add to cart. No hesitation.
And honestly? It ended up being one of my most worn pieces.
This just felt like summer.
Light, happy, effortless. Yellow is one of those colors that instantly brightens everything.
I loved this because it felt unexpected.
I wore this to the Beyoncé concert and it was exactly what I wanted: fun, a little bold, but still cute and pulled together. It had personality without feeling overdone, which is kind of my sweet spot.
Looking at all of these together, I definitely see a pattern:
I love:
• Strong shapes
• Feminine details
• Tall boots
• Good coats
• And color when it makes sense
I don’t really chase trends. I just wear what feels like me and if I love it, I’ll repeat it.
I’ll keep adding favorites as the year goes on, but these were the standouts so far.
