Just like the perfect outfit, a well-designed space is all about balance, creativity, and confidence. The colors, textures, and details that make you feel your best in what you wear? They’re the same ones that transform a home into something truly special. Fashion and interior design go hand in hand—they tell a story, reflect personal style, and bring beauty to everyday moments.
Fashion has always played a major role in my life. Ever since I was a little girl, I was obsessed with dressing up. You could ask my parents—I would change outfits multiple times a day, have several Halloween costumes, and even enrolled myself in pageants just because I loved fashion so much. It wasn’t just about the clothes; it was the creativity, the expression, the pure joy of putting an outfit together.
When I was younger, I always thought fashion might play a role in my career. But where I went to school, that didn’t really seem like an option. So, I just had fun with it. No matter what I was doing, fashion was my creative outlet. Fast forward to now, working in home design, I see how seamlessly the two go hand in hand. I get to dress up every day and express myself through both interiors and personal style. What I wear is a reflection of my creativity, and I think that energy is something our clients and customers pick up on.

Looking back at old photos, I can’t help but cringe at some of my past choices. Some outfits? Instant regrets. Some? Pure joy. Let’s take a walk down memory lane.
“What was I thinking?!” – Oh my God. Some outfits just look like a Halloween costume gone wrong. Certain boots, certain dresses… I never want to see them again. Burn them immediately!
“Sweetest Memory” – One photo that makes me so happy was taken outside my first studio/home downtown. I remember standing outside in a pink dress holding flowers, and a little girl walked by, pointed, and said, “Mommy, look! A princess!” before running up to hug me. At the time, I didn’t have children, but now I could totally see my girls doing the same thing.
The First Big Party – Another special moment: our grand opening studio party, when we hit 5,000 Instagram followers. It was such a milestone! My sweet friend surprised me with number balloons, and we celebrated with a rosé cart (turns out the frosé had vodka in it—no wonder we had so much fun!).
Fashion in Interiors – There was a moment when I started making my photoshoots more editorial, incorporating my love for fashion into them. One of my favorite projects in the Old Village marked this turning point. Since then, I’ve been more intentional about styling myself in a way that complements the space, whether it’s a contrast moment with a bold color or a subtle tie-in to the home’s palette.

If there’s a theme in my fashion choices over the years, it’s that I tend to wear pink for milestones—like today, when we filmed something special. It’s become my signature color for celebrations. But my relationship with color has evolved in ways I never expected.
Purple: Once upon a time, I wasn’t a fan. Now? Obsessed.
Red: I used to associate it with death (dramatic, I know), but I recently bought a red dress for Christmas and embraced the fact that red is having a major moment in fashion.
Yellow & Orange: Colors I swore I’d never use in design or fashion, and yet, here we are—I’ve done both and love them.
Something shifted when I turned 40. I became more open-minded about color, about risk-taking, about everything, really. There’s a newfound confidence in simply wearing and designing what I love without overthinking it.
Fashion and interiors are just different forms of storytelling, and I feel so lucky that I get to weave my creativity into both. Whether it’s a home or an outfit, the magic happens when you embrace what makes you feel good. So here’s to evolving, taking risks, and, yes, sometimes looking back and laughing at what we wore!
