It is no secret Serena and Lily is one of my all time favorite vendors for everything from outdoor furnishings to accessories (check out previous blog post for all my favorite outdoor products by S&L). I recently came across their towels and robes and am obsessed! The quality of their luxury bath products is truly unmatched. Hugh and I most recently updated the screened in porch off of our master bedroom at the Mod Pod. We previously utilized the space with a daybed however I always dreamed of having one of life's little luxuries, a freestanding tub. We had scratched our plans to demolish our ensuite master bath and chose to update the existing space instead. In doing so, we did not end up having the extra space for the tub of my dreams. We decided to be inventive and create an outdoor "spa porch" off of our bedroom and it has truly been SO much fun! Check out how we transformed the porch from a cozy spot to the ultimate sanctuary:

To ensure the spa porch would be the most private, we used curtains to block out any possible views. Next I added in ALL of the plants. To me, plants create a lux feel and add to the spa like aura. You can find all of the planters used at the Megan Molten Shop! Hugh was able to run water to the porch and install the perfect freestanding tub I dreamed about. I wanted the tub to be oversized and modern with a sleek white finish. We added a black faucet to compliment the dark hardware throughout the Mod Pod.
Finding the perfect towel can be quite the feat. Knowing the incredible quality Serena and Lily brings to all of their products I wanted to try out their towels and robes to compliment our new spa porch. The Sonoma Bath Collection Towels are a twist on the classic Turkish spa towel. They are both soft and delicate while still being absorbent and quick-drying ~ a combination which is hard to come by. The cotton is light and airy and gentle on the skin which is very important to me when sourcing bath products. I also love the simplistic style of the towels which feels very modern and fresh.
I ordered the regular size towels for me and the bath sheets for Hugh. The bath sheets are oversized and perfect for him as he is tall and it gives the feeling of being wrapped up in a blanket. We also chose the Guerneville Bath Rug which is so soft for stepping out of the tub.
Because we love to feel pampered, I also purchased the St. Helena Spa Robes for Hugh and I along with the matching St. Helena Spa Slippers. Wearing the robe and slippers makes us feel like we are truly at a spa which I love. The soft robe and slippers have a clean waffle weave and are super absorbent. I decided to make the robes a little more personalized and special by having them monogramed with our initials.
Once again I found that Serena and Lily can do no wrong with their products from furnishings to bedding to bath. They continue to bring the highest level of luxury and sophistication to their products that I personally am always searching for for both myself and my design clients.
