The Stiles Point Plantation project was such a great project to work on as the owners already had such a great space to work with! The clients were looking for some additional styling and layering to add that extra touch to their home. We also helped complete the living space off of their kitchen and dining room.
When working with a client on both large and small projects we always create presentation boards. These boards are meant to showcase the items we will be sourcing for the space. We show the homeowners the boards with our design presentation so they can really get a good idea of what the end result will look like. Once we have the clients feedback, we order the items, receive, inspect and warehouse everything until install day!
Before we being a project, we always take photo and measure the space. We refer back to the photos when designing the layout of each room. Once the project is complete and photographed, I love taking a look back to see how the home transformed.
We take care of everything from the lighting and furniture layout to the styling of pillows, artwork and accessories. With some clients such as the Stiles Point Plantation home, they have pieces they already own they would like to incorporate into the new design. We use decorative accessories to elevate the look of items such as the sofa and coffee table.
Many of the styling items we use in the homes I design are available on the shop! I love combining a woven bowl with wooden beads and placing it on top of coffee table books! These special pieces layered together make a home feel complete! Another signature look is our faux palms in a vase. Palms are the perfect accessory for mantles and kitchen countertops.
